Jichimu, indigenous to Hainan Island, describes a wood whose deep brown and grey patterns when cut tangentially resemble the patterns of partridge feathers. The radial cut blends in with the parallel lines of concentric layered tissue. Jichimu can also be sourced from the Fujian province, where different species are found today.
The Six Syllabel (Auṃ maṇi padme hūṃ) Mantra is the most well know mantra. It is used to purify certain areas in a person such as pride, jealousy, desire, ignorance, greed and hatred. Helps attract wealth & promote good luck.
